A Vivid Dream:

I had a profound dream on November 29, 2024 and in part of the dream, my husband and I were walking up a flight of steep wooden steps. On our left, a man who looked Italian with olive-colored skin, dark hair and dark thick eyebrows, and  looked like he belonged in the legal field, was on the phone. He was dressed in a smart navy blue suit and looked really professional and sharp. He was relaying the things were were saying, almost like he was reporting and presenting evidence over the line with who he was talking with and the person who he was talking with was taking the information in on the other end of the line.

When I woke up, I sensed that the man I saw in my dream was an angel and he was taking what my husband and I spoke and was reporting and relaying it to the courtrooms of Heaven where God presides and oversees the legal matters of His Kingdom. The angel was presenting evidence to the courtrooms of heaven like a prosecutor would in court--reporting what he was hearing us say--in faith or doubt--as we climbed the steep stairs together.

Evidence in Court:

During my secret place time with The Lord that morning, The Holy Spirit highlighted Hebrews 11:1 and it was like the verse suddenly exploded faith into me and I was reading it like I was reading it for the first time ever:

"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."

The EVIDENCE! 

Just like in a courtroom of heaven in my dream, what my husband and I were speaking and declaring was becoming evidence in a case being built for us and being presented to God! What we were speaking out was being relayed and reported by the angel and what we spoke was showing evidence of things that couldn't be seen--for faith or for doubt.

The Abundance of the Heart:

Psalm 82:1 says that "God stands up to open heaven's courts" and that He "judges among the gods." My words, your words show us what is in our hearts. Luke 6:45 says, "For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks."

What words are you speaking that are becoming evidence of what is in your heart?

For what you speak comes from what is in your heart. Jesus said in Matthew 12:37, "For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned."

To be acquitted in court, means that you are declared, "not guilty" of charges that were being brought against you. To be condemned in court means that you were found "guilty" and that the charges are accurate.

When the angel was reporting to the courtrooms of heaven what my husband and I were speaking, as I understood from the dream, the words we spoke had become evidence to the Judge (God) there as He was deciding our trial. 

Faith is the Evidence:

We recently have been walking through some financial trials with cars and appliances breaking back to back that have been requiring faith from both of us to keep trusting The Lord with ongoing provision. Did we trust or did we doubt? God showed me that what we believed was revealed in what we were saying--and that those words were being used as evidence for faith or as evidence for doubt.

Thankfully, God has grown both of us in this season, and we are walking in faith now, despite some residual financial troubles. Our hearts have been changed by Him in this season and now what is coming forth are words of faith.

If the Bible says in Romans 10:17 that, "...faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God," and "faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen," (Hebrews 11:1), then faith builds in you by coming through hearing God's Word. What IS God's Word? It's Jesus! Jesus IS the word of God (John 1:1)!

The Overflow:

Jesus said in John 15:5,"He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing." As you spend time in His Word, the root of His words in you start to anchor in your heart and as your heart fills up with His Word, it becomes full of His Word, and the overflow that starts to come out of you (Luke 6:45) becomes the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1).

Even if you can't see something, the effects show evidence that something has taken place. John 3:8 says, "The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

You cannot SEE the wind. You cannot always SEE an outcome in the natural. But if it's in God's Word, then your faith becomes evidence of what is actually there, even though you can't see it with your natural eyes. Jesus said in Matthew 6:10, "Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven."

He also said in Luke 13:20-21 that, "God’s kingdom is like something as small as yeast that a woman kneads into a large amount of dough. It works unseen until it permeates the entire batch and the loaf rises high.”

You can't SEE God's Kingdom because it's within you (Luke 17:21). But the EVIDENCE, the manifestation of His Kingdom within you that cannot be SEEN with natural eyes, CAN be seen in the evidence of the words you speak from within you and out of your mouth and how your actions start to change as a result of His words abiding in you.

Growing in Faith:

Do you feel like you are lacking in your faith? It is a pretty tell-tale sign that you need to spend more time with Him and abide with Him, letting His Words fill you up. To abide in Jesus is more than just just reading the Bible.

Abiding in Him is letting His Words get down on the inside of you when you read the Bible and letting The Holy Spirit bring revelation to the words on the pages. When your heart becomes full of His Words, then they will come out of you in evidence that will acquit you of doubt, of accusation, of things that the enemy tries to throw your way.

Jesus' words are powerful because He IS The Word of God (John 1:1) and as you abide in Him and let His Words (Himself) fill up your heart, the "overflow of your heart" from your mouth will be filled with faith because HE is full of faith and the words you speak will be not just what Jesus speaks, but who He is--the Kingdom will start coming out of you and you'll start to see the affects of those words around you.

Small Amounts of Faith in Jesus' Words Are Bigger Than You Think:

In Matthew 17:20, Jesus said, "Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you."

What is faith? It's the "substance of things hoped for." It's the "evidence of things not seen." When you speak from the "overflow of your heart" and the words inside of you are Jesus' words, then you can SAY to this mountain to do something that most would consider impossible. 

Why? Because faith the size of a mustard seed is trusting in His words within you and speaking them out. Hebrews 11:3 says, "By faith we understand that the universe was created by The Word of God, so that what is SEEN was not made out of things that are VISIBLE."

Ahhh!!! Are you getting this revelation? God's Word is so powerful that even just a small, mustard seed sized portion of it has enough creative power in it to do something as impossible as moving a mountain by speaking it out!

It's like something sparking when there is a gas leak--fire suddenly breaks out its effects are felt in a big way! Boom! God speaks and "BOOM!" His creativity, His healing, His resurrection life, His deliverance breaks out and absolutely destroys doubt! The evidence of HIS words effects everything around Him. It is the same when we speak out His words in faith!

Jesus said in Matthew 17:20, "Truly." He also said, "Nothing will be impossible for you." Did Jesus lie? No, because He is the TRUTH. (John 14:6).

The weight of the lack of faith doesn't rest on what JESUS spoke to us, but instead in His words that WE don't trust enough to speak out in faith!"

Satan has got so many Christians convinced that they are stuck with things that are opposite of what God has promised. But this doubt in God's word is a lie!

1 John 5:14-15 says, "And this is the CONFIDENCE that we have toward Him, that if we ask ANYTHING ACCORDING TO HIS WILL He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we KNOW that we HAVE the requests that we have ASKED of Him."

Faith is the evidence.

What is the overflow of your heart speaking today?

If it's lacking evidence that you trust His Word to do impossible things that He has already spoken as promises to you, then abide and spend more time with Him. Ask Holy Spirit for revelation in those words and for them to come alive to you.

Asking Him for More Faith:

When you ask for more faith, you're really asking for more of Jesus (the Truth) to be in you. When He fills you up, your words will reflect His words because you've spent time with Him and His words will fill you up.

Lord Jesus, I desire to get to know You more and for the overflow of my heart to speak Your words which are words of faith and I know the only way my lips will be consecrated to You is for You to cause this change to happen in me as I abide in You. You promised to come near to those who come near to You and I come near You today. Please fill me with a hunger for Your word (for You) and please transform me through Your word (You) residing in me. In Your Name I pray, Amen.
